We installed a Wirie four years ago on our spreaders. A Wirie is a marine grade wireless booster and access point. It has performed admirably up until this past week.
This is what it takes to work on Tango’s internet.
Three haul-ups, a hard reset, and a firmware upgrade later we have concluded that the hardware has died and it’s time to upgrade. Maybe Christmas will come early for us this year?
We are sorry your Wirie stopped working. The router in ours decided to die about 5 months ago and we had to buy a new one from Wirie. Fortunately my brother was coming to visit us in the Bahamas and carried it with him. The new version of the Wirie has a UBNT antenna so should work even better but for now we will go with what we have now. Thanks for recommending the Wirie to us.
We hope you are enjoying being in the Pacific Northwest. We decided to summer in Florida again this year…uggghhh!!! Fall can’t come soon enough.
Thanks again for the phone gift you left in our cockpit when we last saw you in Nassau. It has gotten a lot of use.
We enjoy reading your blog posts. Your girls have certainly grown up in the past couple of years.
Keep enjoying life!

Awesome to hear you are still using the phone! Hugs to you both. 🙂
