It’s getting serious in Palm Beach, as the AAL Dalian is set to arrive here tonight. They expect below deck loading to start up tomorrow evening. If things go smoothly, I imagine our spot in the load queue will be Monday or Tuesday. Wanna take bets? Time to take down the sails and canvas and stow all the topside gear.
In the meantime, we have MUCH MORE important things to focus on with Peyton’s birthday this weekend. Little miss Peyton will be nine on Mother’s Day (but Robin graciously sacrifices her special day as kid birthday’s are much more fun). Peyton’s recently rediscovered Harry Potter, with nightly ritual including Madi read chapters as they wind down from the day. Since she loves all things Harry Potter, Peyton decided to have a Hogwarts birthday. To do it right, the girls pulled out their craft supplies and decorated the salon area (complete with floating candles and all). Tomorrow we make cauldron cakes and a shawarma/tabbouleh dinner. If the cakes turn out (and those darn things better cooperate! ), we’ll post some cute photos.
We wish Peyton a very happy birthday on Sunday. We would like to have been there but our first Quidditch match is Sunday and we just got our new brooms – Cumulonimbus 7000s. We are very concerned with mastering our new brooms before the match so as not to upset muggles, who are known to panic when wizards drop out of the sky after losing control of their brooms. Sometimes our Repello Muggletum charm, which should keep muggles away, doesn’t last very long, so we have to be careful. So, happy birthday Ms Peyton and wish us well in our match against Slytherin.
Peyton says, “Win against Slytherin! Thank you for this awesome letter. I hope you meet Krumm.” We love you three!
Viktor was like the best Seeker ever but he’s retired now. Rumor is he lives in a small Bulgarian castle and isn’t seen very much. We miss you guys and hope to figure out a way to see you out west in your new cruising grounds. We hope you guys continue the blog..
Peyton says that you are silly! Come visit…come visit any time! We will keep blogging…until we run out of words. 🙂
