One would think that the first post about a magnificent journey would be filled with prose about the human desire to explore and the wonder of the world around us. Sometimes, however, the first day of a journey wears one out so much that all they can muster is to describe the first day as such.
- Woke up really early
- Said goodbye to amazing friends
- Fired up the engines
- Motor sailed 30 miles almost due south to Solomons Island, Maryland
- Weather was fine albeit a bit cold.
- Undocked at 8:40 AM…docked at 2:20 PM
- Had a nap
- Ate a wonderful dinner of rice, chicken, and broccoli
- Went to bed
Goodnight all…we are spent!
Andy
